Welcome to Ceilidh Cottages

Ceilidh Cottages is located in the Heart of beautiful, West Mabou, Cape Breton Island. Our Cottages are sure to make your stay in Nova Scotia an unforgettable experience. Each of our five Cottages are 800 square feet with a deck on the front and back. They are 2-bedroom cottages with a Queen size bed in each room. In addition, a Futon (Double) is located in the Living Room. Each cottage has a Kitchen, Satellite TV and Air Conditioning. Wireless Internet is available throughout the grounds. Our Cottages are smoke free and pets are not allowed.

The community of Mabou is located along the western side of Cape Breton Island and is nestled in the hills surrounding Mabou Harbour. It has beautiful scenery with many places to explore for nature lovers.
  • World Class CABOT CLIFFS & CABOT LINKS Golf Courses only 28kms away (Inverness)
  • WEST MABOU BEACH PROVINCIAL PARK – 1km away from Ceilidh Cottages
  • CELTIC SHORES TRAIL: a first class trail experience for runners, cyclists, hikers, etc. This trail runs 92 kms from Canso Causeway all the way to Inverness – access to trail- 3kms away
  • LOCAL FARMERS MARKET at Mabou Athletic Centre (Sunday 11am-2pm) – 7kms away
  • FAMILY SQUARE DANCE every Saturday night (9pm-12am) just down the road at West Mabou Hall – 0.5km
